Clif Awuy, Director of Tennis
Has been coaching at Tompkins Tennis Academy for seven years. Clif has played a major role in the development of many of the top ranked juniors that have trained at Tompkins Tennis.
Sandy Tompkins, Strength and Conditioning Coach
Sandy, M.A., is responsible for the academy's fitness and strength programs. She is certified as a Personal Trainer as well as TRX-certified. Sandy works one-on-one with juniors in developing their off-court fitness programs.
Carmen Pham, Manager of ClubSport San Ramon
Carmen was a successful national player as well as top Northern California player her entire junior career. Since then, she received a full athletic scholarship to Santa Clara University and recently graduated in the Spring of 2011. Carmen has been a student of Richard Tompkins since the age of eight and now serves as the Tennis Manager and junior programming at ClubSport San Ramon.

Kelwin DeWet, Head Pro of ClubSport San Ramon
Kelwin is a graduate from the University of Samford in Alabama. Kelwin played #2 Singles and #1 Doubles, winning the Southern Conference team championships as a sophomore and as a senior. As a junior player in the Republic of South Africa, Kelwin was ranked in the Top-20 in both singles and doubles in the Boys 16s and 18s divisions. Kelwin is charge of both the Program II and Program III classes at ClubSport San Ramon as well as adult programming.

Nick Caldwell, Staff Professional
Nick has over 8 years of junior development coaching under his belt. He has produced over six, Division I college players, three of whom have finished in the Top-50. He is USPTA certified. Nick trained under the former junior coach of Lindsay Davenport. In his juniors, he finished #1 in the Southwest region in both the 16s and 18s and went on to play for the University of San Diego. Nick is charge of the Tournament Training II Program.

Marcin Bieniek, Staff Professional
Marcin was a Top-10 player in Poland. During his junior career, he reached a ranking of 475 in the world. Marcin also represented Poland on the Polish Junior National Team. He is certified by the Polish Coaching Tennis Association with an Instructor degree and by the Professional Tennis Registry with a Professional degree. Marcin has worked with both WTA as well as ATP players, Top-100 juniors in the world, as well as Top-20 players in Poland. He attended international coaching workshops and symposiums and learned from the best coaches in the profession.
Stephany Chang, Staff Professional
Stephany recently graduated as a scholarship athlete from UC Berkeley. As a junior, she was ranked #8 nationally in the Girls' 18s. Stephany has trained at Tompkins Tennis since she was 12 years old.
Luis Castruita, Staff Professional
Luis has worked for Tompkins Tennis for over four years. Luis is currently finishing his degree in Sports Medicine and still competes on a Men's Open level.
Roma Datashvili, Staff Professional
Roma was a top junior tennis player in the Republic of Georgia. He began coaching seven years ago, working with top junior players, many of whom went on to successful international junior and professional careers.

Andrei Cimpoaie, Staff Professional
Andrei was the former #2 junior tennis player in Romania and overall Top-10 ranked in Europe. Upon arriving in the United States, Andrei competed on a top Northern California level, Boys' 18s age division. He was a player on the Ohlone College team during the 2008-2009 season and was a doubles semi-finalist for the Coast Conference.
Kurt Del Rosario, Staff Professional
Kurt comes to Tompkins Tennis with more than 10 years of coaching experience. He was a former top junior player in Northern California. He currently competes on a Mens' open level. Kurt is PTR certified.
Issa Cohen, Staff Professional
Issa has over 19 years experience teaching tennis and achieved Profession I certification with the USPTA and Level I Certification with the PTR. He was a top junior in New England and played for Rollins College when it was the top ranked Division II college in the country.
Sandra Florea, Staff Professional
Sandra experienced a successful junior as well as collegiate career. She enters her final year at San Jose State University where she formerly played #1 for the Spartans. She was a top ranked Northern California junior throughout her junior career, in addition to competing at a national level. She has trained at Tompkins Tennis since she was fourteen years old.
Mitch Del Rosario, Staff Professional
A recent graduate of the University of San Francisco, Mitch was a former top Northern California and national junior in the Boys' 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s age divisions. Mitch also competes on a Mens' open level and competed in several future tournaments. Mitch was voted most valuable player during his senior year for the Dons at the University of San Francisco.
Diane Phan, Staff Professional
Diane was a successful national junior player as well as top Northern California junior since the age of nine. Diane has been a student of Tompkins since the age of nine. Since then, she played for the University of California, Santa Barbara and now Academy of Art University. She played #1 singles and doubles for the Urban Knights and was Pac West Conference Freshman of the year.
Danny Furman, Staff Professional
Danny grew up playing junior tennis in Southern California. He was ranked as high as #2 in the section in doubles and in the Top-200 nationally in singles. Danny earned athletic and academic scholarships to attend UC Davis and competed in singles and doubles for the Aggies from 2001 to 2005. He has worked with players of all levels, including current touring pros in his seven years of coaching.
Parul Verma, Staff Professional
Parul hails from Chandigarh, India. He enjoyed an extremely successful junior tennis career in India, where he was ranked as high as #2 in the Boys' 16s and #10 in the 18s. Parul represented his country of India when he played for the Junior Davis Cup. Parul competed collegiately as a Division I scholarship athlete for Eastern Kentucky University. He qualified thrice for the NCAA Championship Tournament.
Max Taylor, Staff Professional
Max was a top ranked Northern California junior. He was ended his junior career, finishing at #26 in the Boys 18s nationally. Max competed on the Maze Cup team, representing Northern California twice as well as Intersectionals. He went on to play for the Gauchos at UC Santa Barbara. He enjoyed success as a student athlete, playing predominately #2 singles his senior year. Max went undefeated in conference championships all four years, as well as competed in the NCAA tournaments his entire career.
Fu Wong, Staff Professional
Fu Wong has been a coach at Tompkins Tennis for the past eight years since 2005. Since then, he has trained dozens of nationally ranked juniors. Fu has been USPTA as well as USPTR certified since 2000.

Ellie Edles
Ellie enters her senior year at the University of California, Davis playing both singles and doubles for the Aggies. Prior to being a scholarship athlete at UC Davis, Ellie enjoyed a successful junior career in Southern California as well as nationally.
Giuliana Olmos
Giuliana enters her sophomore year as a scholarship athlete at the University of Southern California, playing predominately at #4 singles and #3 doubles. She is currently ranked #116 collegiately, and has trained at Tompkins since she was thirteen years old.
Aeriel Ellis
Aeriel enters her senior year as a scholarship athlete currently playing #1 for the Longhorns. Her strong performance resulted in her being selected to be part of the NCAA traveling team the summer of 2010. Aeriel has trained at Tompkins since she was twelve years old.
Sabrina Santamaria
Sabrina enters her sophomore year as a scholarship athlete at the University of Southern California. She is currently ranked #2 collegiately in singles, where she plays #1 for the Trojans. This season, Sabrina won her second ITA National Indoor Doubles Championship as was as the ITA/Riviera All-American Doubles Championship.
